Conference: Mobilizing Lift09
Last week Laurent Haug announced a partnership with Mobify.Me to bring you a mobile version of the Lift website. http://m.liftconference.com
This week I would like to highlight a couple spontaneously generated initiatives made by Lift Participants to help further mobilize our Lift Experience.
1.) Lift: Widset Widget
It might seem redundant to use Mobify.Me and a widget, although the one clear advantage of using the Lift Widset widget is that the content is cached on your device. In other words you do not no need to be pervasive connected to the internet.
2.) Lift: Zcape
Maarten Lens-Fitzgerald setup a ‘context relevant’ mini-blog on Zcapes to help us keep track of what is happening in the “physical” and “Live” web permutations.
3.) Kaywa: DokoDare
Roger Fischer of Kaywa, an ambitious Swiss start-up, has setup a “Dokodare” location-enabled convergence mobile-blog for Lift09. The beauty of Dokodare is the ability to find places of interest (cafés / restaurants) near the conference to extend the Lift Experience.
