Q: Will the Obama administration improve the state of the world in 2009?
A: The Obama administration will not improve the state of the world in 2009 alone. WE ALL will have a part to play in improving our world.

January 21st, 2009 at 10:01Right, Mark! Absolutely. The individual is sovereign. Just like the internet, meaningfulness emerges from patterns of connections among little pieces. You are a little piece. I am a little piece. Each of is endowed by our Creator, as Jefferson wrote, with inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The power to change for the good is an inherent part of this. Liberty is power to freely join with others to the good and service of humanity. Other kinds of power are corrupt, top down from tyranny.
